THESE BUILDS ARE BASED AROUND THE CONCEPT OF THE PAIN TRAIN
NOTE: THESE BUILDS SUPPORT EACH OTHER
Primary fields Primary fields are FIRE, WATER & LIGHTNING and Secondary is DARK. COMBOS
This explains skill combinations with great detail on how they work together.
In case the above link was a bit overwhelming, here's a recap of fields and what the blast finishers will give you
FIRE - Offensive, blasts will give might. WATER - Recovery, blasts will heal. LIGHTNING - Mobility, blasts will give swiftness. ETHEREAL - Battle, blasts or leaps will give chaos armor. DARK - Battle, will cause blindness to enemies.
FOOD/OIL - They may cost a little gold but when you do the math they really add up when everyone is using them. Make sure you have your buffs on!
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST A VERY IMPORTANT THING
STACKING STACK - Your commander needs you to stay with him/her at all times! Getting left behind in a train or scattering out during a zerg bust will greatly reduce your chances of winning a fight! If your commander yells stack make absolute sure you get to him right away!

Very useful post! If you don't mind, I'll elaborate a bit on the Food/Oil choices. Food:Omnomberry Compote: Primarily used to provide health upon killing a foe in combat, which can mean the difference between a zerg that lives or dies. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Omnomberry_CompoteOmnomberry Pie: Primarily used to steal life from the enemy player upon successful attack. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Omnomberry_PieMango Pie: Primarily used to restore life at a slower, yet steady and passive rate -- continues to restore life in combat. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mango_PieNote: These are the more commonly used Food Types, but they are not the only Food Types. There are many choices to choose from based on your current profession, specialization, and gear types. Oil/Stone/Crystal: As you may have noticed, there are three types of classifications of items used in this category; however, each type can only be used one at a time, as they do not stack together, but rather void the one currently being used. Potent Master Maintenance Oil/Master Maintenance Oil: Primarily used to acquire extra Precision. The difference between one and the other is that Potent provides 1 hour of a boon, whereas the other provides only 30 minutes. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Potent_Master_Maintenance_Oilwiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Master_Maintenance_OilToxic Maintenance Oil: Provides a Base Precision boost, while providing a Base Percentage boost of Condition Duration. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toxic_Maintenance_Oil Potent Superior Sharpening Stone/Superior Sharpening Stone: Primarily used to acquire extra Power. The difference between one and the other is that Potent provides 1 hour of a boon, whereas the other provides only 30 minutes. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Potent_Superior_Sharpening_Stonewiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Sharpening_StoneToxic Sharpening Stone: Provides a Base Power boost, while providing a Base Percentage boost of Condition Duration. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toxic_Sharpening_Stone Potent Master Tuning Crystal/Master Tuning Crystal: Primarily used to acquire extra Condition Damage. The difference between one and the other is that Potent provides 1 hour of a boon, whereas the other provides only 30 minutes. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Potent_Master_Tuning_Crystalwiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Master_Tuning_CrystalToxic Focusing Crystal: Provides a Base Condition Damage boost, while providing a Base Percentage boost of Condition Duration. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toxic_Focusing_Crystal
I hope this helps support Instakill's post, while helping new players to WvW Combat assist in their choice of Food and Oil/Stone/Crystal types. Remember, always shout "Food Check" every 20-30 minutes! 'Food Check' is a means of reminding players to keep their Food and Oil/Stone/Crystal buffs up and running at all times.

How is this gonna help the server if everyone runs these GvG builds? please remove this from the teamspeak. Pugs will never be as organized as a guild, keep your comp to yourself. Let the pugs be pugs and become good with their class. If they ran this, it would bring us down. guilds like [NINE], [SeT], [Main], [Yarr], and [OTD] would laugh at these builds and call them a joke because they can wipe triple their numbers instead of double like a meta-train. player skill is key to an improved server for example, my old server NSP. If you want to be helpful, give advise on specific classes until they become good, then invite them to your guild and teach them your comp, throwing a comp at them will only make them a worse player.

This is fine if it's a SUGGESTED list of builds for people who don't really know what to bring to wvw, but if you expect everyone to run these...lol! No thanks. I like the second post about the foods and whatnot, that's pretty useful. If you really want to help our server be successful at WVW you guys need to take a good look internally at the commanders. Anyone with 100g can get a tag, it's a JOKE and many of our server commanders act like jokes too. If the commanders are too busy being egomaniacs in ts and in map chat how do they expect the rest of us to take them seriously? I feel our biggest problem is at the top. Not with the builds of the people, but in the way commanders communicate and execute strategy. Once that is fixed I feel our server would be a lot stronger and you'd have more respect from the general people toward the commanders and therefore more will listen. Commanders need to EARN respect, not demand it.

Commanders in TS blaming the players for a defeat when no orders in TS or map chat was given. Commanders in TS/Map Chat making derogatory statements about PUGS or people not in TS. The majority doesn't have TS and probably will not install it, if they did install it they would probably uninstall it once they had to listen to a commander talk about his personal life for an hour. The elitism attitude and the derogatory statements does not make WvW fun. FC is not going to get New Players or keep the Current Players in WvW with the current attitudes that has been happening. derogatory: expressing a low opinion of someone or something : showing a lack of respect for someone or something

ALL YOU PEOPLE clearly do not know anything about zerging its starts with the fucking builds and gear so that they support each other and work as a team staying alive to place damage were your commander wants it is better then getting rez bots i personally agree with the builds we should go back to the way things were when we didn't have the whole damn server being rez bots for the other servers , this is sad that we can't even fix the wvw in this server without everyone crying about it. Yes i agree that commanders need to be trained but this is not about the commanders right now this is about people running the right shit. i am switching my build now; hope everyone starts too as well !!!

I'm not exactly fond of running that build spec listed for Mesmers, just not really a fan of condi builds. I can understand if its a suggestion build for those who are new or new to World vs World but the experienced Mesmers might not agree with them. I'm more then willing to help those that are new to Mesmer on tips and tricks with the class, builds specs ect. I agree with the about the above posts about the egotistical commanders but everywhere we go has a few bad apples. I'm not the best commander in the world, wouldn't even say decent at it but I try to give the people not in TeamSpeak a good time as well as the ones in TeamSpeak, constructive criticism and suggestions are great for growth. Commanders are like public servants dedicated to help out the server, help us so we can do better to help you build a better community of players and bring in the victories cause in the end we all have to work together to overcome and achieve.

KISS Keep It Simple Stupid How about something simple that will work for ALL players? Commander has mic on which is streamed to webpage like fcgw2.com/commanders/FCBL/passwordNo TeamSpeak required for the players, no installations, no spies, just simple for everybody!

These builds were created by [DETH] as a suggestion so that zerging on our server would be easier. These are not GVG builds or Roaming builds, and they were meant for people that needed a build for zerging. Deth was not trying to shove these builds down peoples throat but merely suggesting that it would be helpful so that we wouldn't wipe in a keep. More importantly, Deth is just trying make our server better and since they are partaking in the server we should appreciate the fact that they tried.
As for the roaming guilds listed, they are players that are extremely talented at their class and would need more dps/trolling and majority of them weren't in the WVW event so why would it matter? If you would like to create a list of builds for zerging, please, and message a server admin and I'm sure they will put it in a pop up. I assume the pop up will be going soon. Next time that Yarr would like forum post, how about you attend one of the meetings and then you would understand when we explained the point. But no yarr members were there.

How did this topic get derailed so quickly? It's a thread about supportive builds. It's up to the end user to decide if it will work with their play style or not. No need to bash people or guilds.

Right, from a Mesmer main: The build in question's a standard "Glamourbomber." It can work, but has certain problems:
1: As we all know, WvW confusion damage was slashed in half months ago. This makes it a good deal harder to keep up AoE condi-pressure.
2: Blinding Befuddlement was nerfed to possess a 5 second ICD. This, gents, makes it's Confuse-on-blind effect USELESS in large-scale combat. OTOH, Dazzling Glamours is still a good choice.
3: As such, you honestly need to combine the Confusion with other sources of "making the enemy kill themselves." A good example's the Triforce build, from the GW2 Mesmer forums. IIRC, 20/0/0/30/20. You still take the glamour-boosters from Domination and Inspiration, but also add in Warden's Feedback for Reflects. In Illusions, you add Confusing Cry (Retaliation from F2 Shatter) and Masterful Reflection (Reflect on F4 Shatter). Staff/Scepter/Focus,Rabid or Dire EQ/Weapons.
3a: Also, with those Traits, you can keep Restorative Mantras, keep Mantra of Pain around, and spamheal your buddies. Fun fact about that heal trick: It doesn't scale too much with Healing Power, tbh ... so you can use your same condition gear. My own version uses a mix of Shaman/Apothecary, with Rabid trinkets for (slightly) better heals. I'll admit, the Reflects crit less then (since Reflect uses YOUR crit chance for the bounced attack).
3b: Another Mesmer support option is: using Prismatic Understanding on your "group" Stealths to add some random defense buffs to the crew. This one's best done with Veil -due to its # of targets- but can also work for small-man teams, via Mass Invisibility. Do keep your friends stealthed as long as possible, the Boons are random and cycle per second Stealthed.
