Well, it sure has been a wacky road in gaming for me. I've been playing on the PC for many, many years now...
Battlefield 1942 Star Wars: Empire at War Star Wars: Forces of Corruption The Civilization series II-IV
But then I fell in love.. World in Conflict. Literally that is the best game I have ever played so far. The best RTS game, and way better than EA's Endwar. Which was a garbage game that was a waste of money. Y Not used to play World in Conflict with me and we were in many clans together over there. Unfortunately, the game died out but the community is still in touch with each other.
I played many games after World in Conflict such as: Total War series L4D2 Ghost Recon Future Soldier Warhammer: Age of Reckoning MMO
All in all, I have played so many different types of video games and now I have ended up here on FC playing GW2!

ZX Spectrum: Being a Brit and (of a certain age) I grew up with a ZX Spectrum, so played Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Lunar Jetman, a LOT of Football Manager, Hungry Horace, Stonkers (one of the real early strategy games), Sabre Wulf, KnightLore (ah....memories....).
BBC Micro: My richer friends either had a Commodore64 or a BBCMicro. The greatest game of all was Elite, the amazing space trading game.
PC Gaming: Eventually got a PC in 1990 or so, and along came; Monkey Island, Civi, more versions of Football Manager. The first shooters to break me away from sports strategy may have been Metal Gear Solid and Half-Life. The Settlers were my fav strategy game for many years. Ultima Online and Second Life (why didn't this take over the world) were my first MMORPGs. And eventually, through EVE Online, Neverwinter Nights, WoW, and now... here.
