Hello everyone,
In the upcoming weeks I would like our community to aid in weekly training for our WvW members. These training sessions can range from beginner, intermediate and advance levels. To kick start this, I will be holding a basic training session this Tuesday during 8PM EST until around 9:30PM EST. It will cover the following topics:
Basic Training (Points of Discussions and Rundowns):
----------------------------------------------------
I. Defense
1. Siege placement in BL.
2. Siege placement in EB.
3. Refreshing siege.
4. Order of upgrades.
5. Prioritizing towers/keeps.
6. When to repair/maximizing supplies.
7. Supply traps and treb mastery.
8. Importance of inner cannons in keeps (nerf on this may be coming).
9. Reading the map and scouting.
10. Superior siege versus regular siege.
11. Common places of attacks and how to counter them (BL covarage mostly, we can do EB coverage if there's time).
12. Using MOS Millenium for RI, possible near by attacks and golem building.
13. Creating choke holds and their importance.
II. Attacking
1. The importance of misdirection and element of surprise.
2. Siege placement (BL and EB).
3. Ram mastery vs cata mastery and which option to select.
4. Golem rush (is it necessary?), how to maximize the timewarps and portals.
5. Prep work and in its benefits (especially in a Garrison attack).
6. Maximizing supplies and buffing camps.
7. Build all siege first, then hit the gate/wall.
8. Best ways to help commanders in open field combat and structure attacks.
9. Tagging WPs and how it benefits an attack.
10. Know thy combo fields/finishers and how they work.
========================
This training session is aimed at new members that are trying to learn this game type (although vets are more than welcomed to join). If you see a topic that is not mentioned here and believe it should be discussed, please let me know (just keep in mind, this is to cover the basics).
If you want to be a part of this, please let me know. I encourage all vets to hold training sessions since this will only benefit our community.

* Note * TeamSpeak 3 is a requirement, especially since this will occur during prime time.
