Source: www.guildwars2.com/en/news/borderlands-bloodlust-in-world-vs-world/ Lake, Krait, and Quaggins removed for ruins of power. How it works: 5 ruins, hold 3 for 2min. Everyone in wvw gets a bloodlust buff that increases stats. Hold it to keep the buff. When you have stacks of bloodlust doing a finisher on enemy players will net points (per stack of bloodlust to a max of 3). Pretty big game changer here. Discuss!

i dont mind the stomp points, i think those will definitely add something new/interesting/workable to the wvw gameplay experience as a whole
having been around long enough to remember orbs in their previous incarnation... the reason i was glad they were gone the first time around (despite hacking being merely the excuse anet used to justify taking them out) is the typical way matches would play out in both high tiers and low tiers, but not so extreme in mid tiers:
1 server would manage to hold all 3 orbs for a significant period of time... and the other 2 servers just quit and gave up for the week. 5k point leads decided matches, because it was too much of a hassle to try to fight into 3 orb zergs. and matches snowballed into 600+ ppt ticks for 1 server.
i honestly do not believe it will be any different this time around despite the buff mechanic being easier to gain/lose.
the snowball effect of just being *better* cuz you have stat advantage is wayyyyy too strong.
plus to me this reeks of spvp, and i want wvw not spvp
