This wednesday at the dailies' reset (8pm EST; 5pm server time), my guild (I) will be hosting a large raffle for everyone in PvE and WvW. I would do this on friday at WvW reset but I will not be online this friday evening.
To everyone who is interested, the 'tickets' are 50 silver. You can buy as many tickets as you want, each ticket gets your name put into the draw. You can start sending your silver/gold to me as of right now and I will accept the money until 10 minutes before the draw. If we get many people to participate then the prizes will be amazing, but it all depends on the amount of tickets purchased.
The main prize will be a large amount of gold (the amount will depend on amount of gold in the 'pot'), there will also be other prizes like assorted exotic weapons/armour, and possibly some smaller amounts of gold. The more tickets purchased, the better the raffle and prizes so it would be amazing if we had many people buying multiple tickets. I am also hoping to do a similar draw every week or two.
Also if enough gold is summed into the pot, there will be a small portion taken out and I will do so each week and this small fund will hopefully accumulate enough to have a raffle that contains a precursor as a prize.
