First off, congratulations on hitting blue this week Fergs- we deserve it.
Now that the sentimental shit is said and done let's get down to business. What guilds have we seen from the Ho's that are worth meriting a field stack for? Who should we prepare portal bombs on? Where are CC's most handy? Ect., ect.

VLK: lots of perma stealth thieves, who will camp a certain area. They tend to have at least one heavy burst thief with their thief roaming parties. -CC warriors: (usually in glassy-ish armor)
PAXA: Will flank, and come out of thin air to gank you. Pretty strong guardians, and alot of D/D eles in their groups. Tend to have one or more stealthers in their roaming group to get you by surprise.

Where are you guys encountering PAXA? We'd love to fight them.
VLK: Occasionally we'll get groups larger than we can handle but if you survive their alphas they go down pretty quickly. Haven't run into their thief group yet. It's also likely that we haven't run into their main force--YMMV.
PAIN: Thief-oriented guild from what we've encountered (up to four in one area). Most of them are unskilled but enough thieves spamming #2 like a boss will down just about anyone.
Also: really wish this forum wasn't publicly visible. Server intel and whatnot should be private.

Lol I ran into that pain guild they were running 3 theives and they got stomped pretty hard by me and Hana they just kept coming back and getting crushed too... We were unimpressed ... VLK was not hard to deal with either when we could handle there numbers but I've heard they are good. Haven't seen any PAXA yet but can't wait to run into them! the ARMD guild seems solid, don't remember if they were ET or HoD though

VLK did present a bit more of a challenge, but not much more at all. Was fun crushing them.

HoD seems... rather thiefcentric. It's a nice change of pace from the sheer amount of Guardians I've been having to deal with lately.

For those who want to fight PAXA (in EB), they tend to do circles of SM, and our keep to kill all doylaks coming to and from the camps. That and some in their groups of 6 will like to run around the ruins of the keep to gank solo people who come out.

KoW will hurt you with their nader engis, very easy to take out by stacking retal though.

From what I've seen so far the main thing PAXA does well is run an old-school assist train. If one of them is on you, the rest will be a few seconds later. They pile on crowd control to lock one person down at a time and, once dropped, move on to the next one. Theoretically the counter to this is AoE damage/CC, but that's hard to do in practice, so in general this is really effective and we probably should be imitating it for small encounters.
This can either mean forming parties and using the call target/assist stuff, or more informally just going after targets that someone's already working on. This particularly applies to thieves and anyone else with good burst.

PAXA is also very good about rezzing downed folks. It's insanely difficult to get a stomp on them unless you can fear/knockdown/daze their rezzers. When we've fought them in even numbers we've done OK but they're usually 5 or 6 vs. our 2 or 3. We occasionally see them rolling with KoM who I don't think we've faced alone yet.
PAXA and others are encouraging roaming guilds like us to come to T8. I expect to see Invidious from Blackgate here today unless something's changed. OINK from DR is also moving but I don't know to where. It is likely that we'll see more of these kinds of organizations coming and going in the near future.

You just make sure those roaming guilds end up on the Ferg's blue turf and not green team.
