Some of these builds are "stolen", others have been contributed by members of the community. I've yet to add the Thief builds yet to this list so be patient. Bear in mind that theory-crafting is encouraged; obviously we run with much smaller WvW groups than the higher tiers.

If you are new to either melee DPS or guardian, this is my suggested build. Its focus is condition removal, and is extremely tanky. Focus your efforts to put your ranged sanctuary in the most annoying spot for the enemy in large fights.
Eredon Terrace: Ripped [FoE] Healing Support Guardian Build
Armor: Cleric's (6) with Cleric's Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Monk (2), Superior Rune of Water (2), Major Rune of the Monk (2)

This build is focused around your elite skill. With the trait it will last for 30 seconds. Make sure you are familiar with your abilities for your elite tome before using this. For open field fighting the elite can be a game changer, and when your elite is down, your primary source of healing will be your dodge rolls.
Warrior
Eredon Terrace: Ripped [FoE] Warrior Build
Armor: Knight's (6) with Soldier's/Berserker's Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Soldier (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Force (Hammer), Superior Sigil of Force (Axe), Superior Sigil of Force (Axe)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNAS3XjcONvJPWP4QCEkiqILMFKCVh2I9QMGw0A
Condition Removal. Adding ALL Shouts removing conditions offers condition removal does not detach from ability to DPS. Adding “Shrug It Off” in traits adds an additional shout that is not based on player input. More DPS. Removing switching to the warhorn allows for Whirling Axes, Cyclone Axe and Chop offers the same ability to CC/Immobilize enemies. Berserker’s Power - Increases damage based how much adrenaline you have built. Stage 1: 3%, Stage 2: 7%, Stage 3: 12% Heightened Focus - Gain a 2% critical-hit chance for 1 stage of adrenaline, 5% for 2 stages, and 9% for 3 stages. Keeping full adrenaline with Whirling Axes with Super High Crit and Damage offers massive AoE and Chop is the fastest auto attack to quickly refill Adrenaline Bar. Survivability. Last Stand - Activates Balanced Stance when you are dazed, knocked down, launched, pushed back, or stunned.
Daze commonly comes from Static Field, this offers 10s of Stability (and a stun break) when pushing into a group, warriors will also have Balanced Stance on Utility Bar. 1700 HP, 2900 Effective HP – More health, same armor, 1 more break stun, additional stability. Boon Duration – the additional 40% boon duration from the runes is not needed. With the ability to switch weapons out of combat, putting a warhorn in an inventory offers the same amount of AoE swiftness as before, 30% boon duration is a 13s swiftness with a 20s cooldown on the warhorn. Running into Condition removal undoes the entire purpose of boons duration while and with the newer build we can still keep DPS high throughout the engagement. Bottom Line: More DPS, More survivability on pushing into group, same if not better condition removal. Boon duration is a waste after running into condition removal.
Rotation: Hammer 3 -> Hammer Burst -> weapon swap -> Axe 5 -> Axe 2 -> Chop til Adrenaline full -> weapon swap -> Hammer 3 -> Hammer Burst -> Rinse repeat own.

A skill dependant specc with survivability coming from extreme in-combat mobility. It has high amount of control and allows to take on multiple enemies. It’s effective in small groups and solo play, especially if the group doesn’t have a thief to chase down runners. Techniques like “Cat leap” (see special section for techniques) make it possible to catch enemies at 2000y+ in open terrain.
High crit chance combined with crit damage bonus provide high sustained damage and burst spikes on demand. An overall good roaming specc.
Your role in group fights will be delivering burst damage to wounded targets, using your in-combat mobility for portal planting and time warping your team. Staff’s Chaos Storm skill is also a stroung group tool. If your team doesn’t have a thief you might also take care of runners and catch them at long range using “Cat leap”.
This specc has no target dropping and no real condition removals. Because of this it is bit harder vs condition-heavy builds and long range enemies like GS mesmers. Glass cannon enemies like thieves can also be dangerous. To counter this problem specc needs bit more passive defence comming from gear, mixing knight, valkyrie and berserker items. For best results you’re going to need rings from fractals.

Osicat's Condition-Specialty Shatter Cat Mesmer
Armor: Rabid (6) with Rabid Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Undead (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Earth (Staff), Superior Sigil of Generosity (Scepter), Superior Sigil of Corruption (Torch)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fgAQNArfWlwzaqHTTqGa9IiJFBHyh6B4ldfXJFz2FC
Shatter Cat condition build is high toughness precision stacking conditions build who use a steady pressure of staff clone dmg and spike using confusion shatters. It have a high survival rate, 1850-1900+ toughness, mass invis decoy and torch make it practically a pain in the kitten to take down. Best working in a team, using a necro and a burst dmg class to down wounded targets.
Spec got condition dmg stacking on the wep set it uses least. This to give room for extra dmg, while in staff dps mode. It also have sigil of generosity on OH set as ig give a little less problem with condition and if you transfer a big stack of bleeds back to enemy it’s a killer.

Necromancer
Brother Alaric's Support Necromancer
Armor: Soldier's (6) with Soldier's Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of Altruism (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Restoration (Staff), Superior Sigil of Corruption (Axe), Superior Sigil of Hydromancy (Warhorn)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fQAQNBmODbESrbPTzTjfPBI94Zsve6R3jvNVhyB
Your team will thank you for running this. every organized guild needs these in the mix. In GvG we run 2 of them. Omnom compote with sigil of restoration = 2k heal every kill. Necros tag eveything. So we are dealing with a nearly un-killable force.
[VK]'s Wells & Siphons Power Necromancer
Armor: Soldier's (6) with Rabid (2) and Soldier's (3) Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Fighter (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Bloodlust (Staff), Superior Sigil of Battle (Axe), Superior Sigil of Hydromancy (Dagger)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fQAQNAW3YjQah6ZaWa87JCZGP7aTP424EH8B3D
Healing does not scale on necros. Its actually broken. So the 1.25k healing is actually a next to worthless stat. you get about .9% of the value out of it. I used to run full clerics till I found this out. Now its PVT.
Massapequa's Critical Corruption Necromancer

Curses:
IV: weakening shroud - this casts AoE bleed and weakness on your position upon entering Death shroud. amazing dps in group battles
VI: Terror - Fear is actually the hardest hitting condition a necro has. + it deals more damage to players with another condition on them.
XII: Withering precision - 25% chance to cause weakness on crit. A high crit chance compounded Aoe skills, chances are that you're going to causing a lot of weakness.
Death Magic:
II: Greater Marks - your staff marks become bigger and unblockable.
V: Staff Mastery - staff skills recharge 20% faster.
You're going to be using your staff A LOT in WvW, and that makes these two traits invaluable.
VIII: Reaper's protection - cast AoE fear when disabled. awesome survivability tool and synergizes well with Terror.
Blood Magic:
Vi:Transfusion - Life Transfer heals allies.
life transfer is an excellant ability in group battles and this trait just makes it a whole lot better.
alterations
A strong case could be made for placing the 10 points from Blood Magic into Spite for Vengeful Spirit.
Spite:
V: Spiteful Spirit - Gain retaliation for 3 seconds when entering death shroud. excellant for pushing through chokes.

Elementalist
Alice's Cleric Support Elementalist
tinyurl.com/bwosetl
The premise of this build is to provide massive amounts of support and healing to the zerg whilst at the same time ensuring one's own survival. By focusing all skills exclusively towards cantrips, vigor and retaliation are granted to the Elementalist in the likely events of a push through siege fire. Mist Form allows for higher survivability when making a group push to bunker inside of a keep or tower that is currently under heavy fire. The Superior Runes of Altruism allow for might boons to still stack when dropping heals on gate captures. Because this build is centered towards acting as a support, the Elementalist should keep a keen ear in TeamSpeak to know when and where to drop their fields for building combos or granting heals.
Engineer
Standard HGH Engineer
Armor: Carrion (3) and Rabid (3) with Rabid Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of Altruism (4), Superior Rune of Lyssa (2)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Battle (Pistol), Superior Sigil of Corruption (Pistol)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fcAQJAqalspiYnuSfF17ICoC5loHPGlNZfe8WsFEC
The HGH Engineer is fairly overpowered during sPvP and against two to four players in WvW. The basic premise of the build is to apply conditions, dodge attacks, consume elixers to stack might, lob grenades for blast damage, and finish away with pistols before rinsing and repeating. Remember to consume Elixer S to safely apply finishing blows against downed players! This setup also provides terrific crowd control in choke points when roaming with much larger zergs.
Defensive Tool-Bomb WvW Engineer
Armor: Soldier's (6) with Knight's Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Soldier (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Accuracy (Pistol), Superior Sigil of Battle (Shield)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fcAQJAqelIqic3zSfF1LJx4DdO8B8L6R+tsj/UQuA
The Tool-Bomb Engineer's purpose is to distract and be a general pain in the ass to enemy zergs before your group makes an initial crowd control push. The build holds high survivability alongside decent AoE damage so long as the user skirts towards the outside of enemy zergs rather than rushing through them.
HGH-Juggernaut Hybrid Engineer
Armor: Soldier's (3) and Knight's (3) with Knight's Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Dolyak (4), Superior Rune of Hoelbrak/Fire/Strength (2)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Strength (Pistol), Superior Sigil of Strength (Shield)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fcAQJAqelspSXHvSrF17ISoCSIoHAWddXie8YN2kB
Burn baby, burn. Drink up those elixers, stack might, whip out that Flamethrower, and just let hell break loose as you make the front-line push with your zerg. This build is not recommended for roaming with any group with less than five people.
Ranger
The WvW Trap Ranger
Armor: Rabid (6) with Carrion Jewelry
Runes: Superior Rune of the Undead (6)
Sigils: Superior Sigil of Energy (Shortbow), Superior Sigil of Blood (Axe), Superior Sigil of Energy (Warhorn)
Skills/Traits/Weapons: gw2skills.net/editor/?fMAQNBHhVakoKuuuSvC1OA0ekpkYyeYojP6KMaBbqA
The bread and butter, toast and jam, trap build for the serious WvW Ranger. Condition application and crowd control are your tools against the zerg. Take Root is also an alternative elite skill that Sylvari Rangers would be wise to utilize for the prevention of siege destruction.
