Teamspeak Server confusion

What is going on with the TS Server ?
The way it is done at the moment is confusing and not fostering and supporting a greater community.
It does the opposite. You can't see anymore where people are and get a permission message when logging in.
If this is the way it's going to be don't bother to publicize the TS server here or in map-chat. It's going to be
a turnoff specially for people joining the first time. If people need channels with passwords they should get
their own guild server. I thought the objective was getting organized and working together.
It's hard enough to get people on to TS don't make it harder.
